  高亿英语既注重基础知识的考查,又强调能力的灵活运用。为了适应这一趋势,提高高一英语的教学质量,我在高一英语教学中将常抓基础知识,有梯度地拓宽词汇,提高课堂效率,从而努力提高学生学习的自觉性、主动性与积极性,通过师生互动,更进一步提高英语成绩。

  学生状况分析:

  从学生上学期期末考试情况来看,主要存在以下三方面问题:

  ①在思想上、态度上放松或放弃的现象有所表露,表现在考试不做主观题尤其是不写作文的学生为数不少。

  ②基础知识不够扎实,灵活运用语言的技能相对薄弱。

  ③运用能力不够强实。学生的阅读能力、理解能力、分析能力、判断能力、应变能力等均不能较好地适应考查要求。

  教育教学指导思想

  树立新观念,继续钻研新大纲,探索教材教法。进一步明确任务性教学和其他教学理论相结合,探索培养学生全面语言能力的路子。

  教学重心:

  如何改进我们目前的英语课堂教学,提高课堂教学质量,还需要我们认真研究。继续抓学习习惯,强调基础知识的过关,在落实巩固基础知识的前提下来进一步加强其它能力的培养和训练,发展学生自主学习的能力和合作精神。进一步激发学生英语学习的积极性和自信心,提高教学质量。语言学习的关键在于语言知识的积累,只有通过学习者亲身的体验和摸索,才能学会并掌握语言知识,从而达到在交际中灵活使用语言的目的。

  教学工作

  本期教学知识覆盖面和词汇量仍然大,所以,首先要加强基础知识的训练,在上好教本的同时,要特别考虑拓展学科的课外知识,人文知识,加强课外阅读的补充和指导,具体方法如下:

  1)抓好单元教学,突出单元教学重点。认真学习任务性教学理论,贯穿于教学实践中。把握好各个环节如:

  并注意和其他教学理论相结合,让学生不仅学习知识,而且得到能力的培养。

  2)增强教改意识。要整体提高学生的思想认识和文化品味。要将“教法指导”转为“学法指导”,重视指导学生思维方法的学习,要引导并鼓励学生的创新意识。相对淡化知识系统,强调运用语言的能力和语感能力的培养,重视积累,感悟和熏陶。新教材中的“口语交际”要让学生充分活动,还要采用多种形式拓展学生的英语实践活动,努力提高学生学习英语的兴趣。

  3)课内课外阅读..

  a.教师指导阅读,教师除了课文中阅读材料,还要指导学生的课外阅读,备课时要对其内容,重难点,方式方法等都要作通盘考虑。另外还要注意“教本”和“课外阅读”的相关延伸,即“课外阅读”和“教本”具体课文的相关衔接。同时,教师还要对学生进行阅读策略方面的指导。

  b.学生单元小结1.积累词语,对课文涉及的重要词语,要总结、查字典解释重点记忆。2.阅读报刊文章写点评;3.每单元写一百字左右与课文内容相关的作文。

  c.课堂交流,课堂内除了这些活动,还有课外的teamwork,dutyreport,这些材料都以书面形式和口头形式呈现,最后由教师收集作资料保存。

  4)写作

  a.根据教材的编写体例,把教本上的写作内容与学生练笔结合。

  b.本期拟作作文每单元1次。

  c.作文批改要讲实效,要调动学生参与,可先由学生自评或互评,再由老师点评,对其得失进行分析总结,并提倡学生写后记或重作,以期不断提高写作能力。d.对优秀的作文可进行交流。

  3.充分利用电脑,投影仪,磁带,录像,影碟机等电教手段,适当的时候使用多媒体教室,使英语课堂更加形象,生动活泼。

  新的学期又开始了。高一下期是学生逐渐认识和适应高中外语学习的关键时期,我们计划在上学期的基础上,继续拓宽学生的知识面,全面培养听、说、读、写能力,特别是理解、分析和阅读的能力,让学生尽快适应高中学习。为切实有效的做好英语教学工作,顺利完成本学期的教学任务,使学生达到最佳的学习效果,特制定新学期英语教学工作如下:

  一、指导思想

  以学校工作计划为指导思想,全面贯彻落实新课程改革和素质教育的精神,全组成员将积极主动地开展教学研究工作,落实学科教学常规,营造良好的教研氛围,不断改革课堂教学,探究科学有效的教学形式。针对我校高一新生普遍英语底子差,基础薄的实际,打算在高一起始阶段的英语教学中,本着低起点,爬坡走,抓习惯的原则,长期不懈地抓好学生的学习英语的的兴趣和习惯养成。

  二、学情分析

  今年我校高一级共有六个班,学生整体英语水平较差,并且分数层次多,普遍英语底子差,基础薄。我担任1班跟5班的教学工作,这两个班是学校的重点班,基础相对会好一点,但是总体上看,学生的成绩都是参差不齐的。这就需要适当的分层教学。

  三、教材分析

  本学期完成英语必修(3)和必修(4)两个模块。共10个单元内容。

  具体安排:对于10个单元,每一单元用10课时,课本的学习可以这样进行:

  1、warmingup和vocabulary2课时;

  2、reading和languagepoints4课时

  3、grammar3课时;

  4、单元检测练习1课时

  四、具体工作措施

  高中学段和初中学段在教学对象、教学内容、教学要求、教学方式和学习方式方面均存在着一定的差异。因此,帮助高中学生了解这些差异,引导他们尽快适应高中的学习与生活,是摆在新学期高一教师面前的迫在眉睫的任务。认真研究新课程标准,认真研究新教材,在集体备课的基础上认真备课、上课,认真进行自习辅导和批改作业。单词一直是学生的难点、薄弱点,直接影响学生综合能力的提高,在教学中要重视词汇教学,狠抓单词的记忆与巩固以及对词汇的意义与用法的掌握。使学生掌握科学的单词记忆方法和养成勤查词典的习惯。为了提高学生的听力水平,从高一就开始就对学生进行听力训练。除了利用课堂上的时间外,还要坚持每周利用晚修时间给学生集体放听力。阅读理解能力的培养是高中教学的重点,也是高考的重头戏。在单元教学中专门抽出一节课作为阅读课,并且有计划的指导学生掌握科学的阅读方法。

  通过本单元教学,学生应能熟练地运用表示“提供和拒绝帮助”的常用语;复习句子的成分——主语;了解纽约的发展历史和土著人被压迫的历史。

  教学建议

  教学教法:

  进入高三下学期的学习,基本进入了全面备考状态。北京特级教师张铁城老师有如下建议:

  1. 对近年高考题精耕细作,反对盲目的题海战术。

  2. 不要单纯背词汇表,要把词汇与语法结合起来,要在具体语篇中记忆词汇。

  3. 要多读多题材的阅读文,特别是现代生活中的热点问题。

  4. 要增加听力训练的力度,充分利用高三课本资源。

  词语辨析:

  1.By 1820 the population of New York had grown to about 125 000, making it the largest city in the USA.

  making it the largest city in the USA是分词短语作结果状语。动词make 意为“使成为”,接名词或形容词构成复合结构。如:

  The bus was held up by the snowstorm, thus causing the delay.

  Her husband died in the war, making her a widow with three children 2.In 1858 an area of poor housing, factories and farm buildings was torn down and Central Park was created, reaching from 59th Street to 110th Street and across three avenues.

  1)tear(tore,tom)是动词,意为“撕开,扯掉”。短语动词 tear down,意为“撕下,拆毁”。如:

  tear down a notice 撕下一张通知

  tear down a dangerous wall 拆毁一道危墙

  2)reach作“延伸”解。reaching from 59th Street. . . and across three avenues是现在分词作定语,修饰Central Park,相当于一个定语从句。

  ①现在分词作后置定语相当于限制性定语从句,表示主动的动作或动作正在进行。

  Anyone swimming will be punished.

  The road joining the two villages is very wide.连接这两个村子的路非常宽。

  ③现在分词的被动语态作后置定语(既表示被动,也表示动作正在进行)

  The question being discussed is very important.

  Do you know the boy being punished by our teacher?

  3.In 1892 the age of mass arrival began, during which 15 million new people passed through Ellis into the USA. over a period of 62 years.

  1)mass是名词,意为“大量,大批”,mass arrival是名词修饰名词,mass作定语。英语中名词修饰名词是常有的现象。如:

  2)pass through为固定短语,含义为“穿过,通过,路过”,其中 through既可当介词用,也可当副词用。如:

  He passed through unspeakable difficulties.

  We're just passing through on our way to Shanghai

  4.now that,due to,because of,owing to,since,as

  1)now that.作“既然”时相当于since.突出事实性,而as作“既然”语气较弱。有时now that中的that可省去。如:

  Now(that)you are well again,you can travel.你既然恢复了健康,就能够旅行了。

  2)due to作“由于,因为,应归功于”时常作表语或跟在名词后。如:

  The flight was cancelled due to the storm.班机因暴风雨停航了。

  3)because of“由于,因为”只能引导副词短语,在句中作状语或表语。如:

  Lincoln is admired because of his leadership.林肯由于出色的领导而受到人们的赞赏。

  4)owing to“由于,因为”常在现代英语中与 because of,due to换用。如:

  Owing to unfavourable weather,I was unable to carry on with it.由于天气不好。我不能把它进行下去。

  教材分析

  The main dialogue of this unit is to practise the students how to ask for permission, refuse and give permission ability. Though learning the way of expressing are able to remind the students speaking in daily life. This dialogue is the main idea to learn to use these phrase for permission. Though two men’s talking. Meanwhile this lesson offer some practice to help the students to understand and learn about the content of the dialogue. In order to master these phases, this lesson has short dialogue to give the students to speak each other.

  1.catch fire与be on fire

  1)catch fire:begin to burn着火;烧着。catch fire有动态含义,揩“开始燃烧”。

  例如:

  Paper catches fire easily.纸容易着火。

  The bed clothes catch fire and the whole house may be burnt down.铺盖着火了,整个房子都可能烧掉。

  2)be on fire:be burning着火;失火。 be on fire有静态含义,指“燃烧的状态”。

  例如:

  The house was on fire.房子着火了。
